Carmarthenshire Distinctiveness Toolkits
Carmarthenshire's rich history, mythology, artists, poets, and landscape are just a few of the many things that attract visitors to this area of West Wales.
Carmarthenshire Tourist Association has developed a series of Distinctiveness Toolkits to better equip those involved in tourism and local people to share the county's unique character, heritage, tastes and attractions with visitors. If local people understand what makes the area special, then they are proud to share it, and offer visitors a warm welcome.
These digital documents travel through Carmarthenshire via the story of its towns and villages - highlighting the unique characters and events that have shaped the county, and those unmissable places to be explored, including popular attractions and hidden gems.
The Toolkits below are all interactive pdf documents. They are free resources that are simple to download and easy to use. Simply click on the buttons below, to download each document. Remember to save it to your computer so that you can access it at any time.
Simply click on the region button you'd like to explore, complete the form and then download the document and save it to your computer.
These toolkits are designed to be used online, with hyperlinks throughout that allow the reader to access further information online. They can also be printed off and kept as a booklet for handy reference. Each one contains 20 pages about the local area - and a further 4 pages which can be printed as 'handouts' to share with visitors.
We hope that the Toolkits will give readers the knowledge, enthusiasm and confidence to communicate their stories with visitors, and inspire local businesses to celebrate the character of the local area.
We invite you to delve into Carmarthenshire's local distinctiveness - enjoy your journey...
